The nationally recognised Diploma of Leadership & Management (BSB50420) qualification is designed for individuals who are currently working in leadership or are an emerging leader of our business.
Our program will help you gain the foundation skills needed to hone your leadership potential and develop key competencies in the critical areas of management which include emotional intelligence, communication, people management, leadership, teamwork,
project-management, problem-solving and business planning from a management perspective.
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements.
They may plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.
This qualification is on offer to all staff at FCTG who are not on the 2 Year Traineeship Pathway.

FAQ
HOW DOES THE ENROLMENT PROCESS WORK?
There are a number of parties involved in the enrolment process. Yourself, our team, the RTO and MAS National if a training contract is required. We help navigate this process and it usually takes 2-4 weeks to complete.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE THE QUALIFICATION?
This qualification is delivered over a 12 month period. This means that you should be completing a unit every month. We estimate that you should dedicate 1-3 days per month to study and assessment.
WHAT DO I GET OUT OF THIS?
You are awarded a nationally recognised qualification for completing the requirements of this course. Additionally you would be deemed as competent in the units and develop leadership and management skills to build your personal and professional profile.
HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
There are generally 2 types of assessments in this program. Projects are self directed tasks that you complete using the online platform and observation assessments are an opportunity to be assessed by an assessor, performing the required skills within the units.
